"Escape"

Anger and agony,
May be better than misery.
It may be time to trust me.
Crushing moments of despair
Upholstered and handled with the greatest care,
Tenderly taken with heartbroken fingers.
The crashing cold winters and searing torrid summers,
At moments despair reaching across seas,
Though in the wide scope are really such trivialities.
Are all problems and drowns,
But just a feather floating down.


Suicidal marches through the sands,
Though ubiquitous in all the lands.
To those who ponder this,
They may be better off in bliss.
Suffering heartaches and distress,
Ensnared doubts leaving us a mess.
Though time and time again we ask for more
when we should ask for less,
Onward we go, eventually, past troubles and doubts,
Taking new and more exciting routes,
Until that obtrusion of ugliness blocks us again,
Then, again back to the beginning where we had been.
Are all problems and drowns,
But just a feather floating down.
